Olivia is founder of a small group of gynaecologists in the local area who run the countries leading Ambulatory Gynaecology Unit at Leicester General Hospital, carrying out more Myosure procedures than anywhere else in the UK. As such we continue to work closely with Hologic, the company that developed Myosure.
This year we were invited by Hologic to become a reference centre for Ambulatory Morcellation. This means we will teach other units how to set up the service and perform the procedures safely in a clinic setting.
Olivia carried out the first operative procedure in Europe using the new Fluent Fluid Management System at Leicester General Hospital. Fluent is now available at Spire Hospital to make these procedures safer and quicker. She has spoken at an International Webinars and meetings on the benefits of better fluid management during the procedures with this fluid management system.
Olivia carries out more Myosure procedures per month than anyone else currently working at Spire Hospital, so you can be sure you are in expert hands.
