Olivia is unable to help people in the private sector who are

  • Age under 18y. Olivia is unable to see young ladies under the age of 18 due to constraints applied by Spire Hospitals and her medical indemnity policy.
  • Not in the UK at the time of your Virtual Appointment. You must be in the UK at the time of your consultation under the terms of my medical indemnity.
  • Pregnant/wanting treatment to help get pregnant. Olivia is an expert in Emergency Gynaecology including gynaecological ultrasound, early pregnancy care. However due to constraints applied by medical indemnity insurance policies she is unable to look after women in pregnancy in the private sector. Please note that for the same reasons Spire Hospitals no longer carry out pregnancy scans either. Fertility investigations can be carried out but not fertility treatment. Fertility treatment can only be carried out at an HFEA accredited unit by a subspecialist with additional training in Fertility Treatment. Other colleagues can help with this.
  • Significant health problems. If you have significant health problems that will increase the risk of surgery, Olivia will not be able to operate in the private sector and you will be transferred back the NHS for any operations you might need.
  • Recurrent prolapse in the same part of the vagina. Olivia can help with prolapse for the first time, but if you have already had surgery in the same part of the vagina, you are better to see a Urogynaecology Subspecialist.
