Olivia is one of a few gynaecologists in the local area who run the countries leading Ambulatory Gynaecology Unit at Leicester General Hospital, carrying out more Myosure procedures than anywhere else in the UK. As such we have been invited to work closely with Hologic, the company that developed Myosure. We are currently evaluating the new fluid management system on early market release in Europe, designed specifically to be used alongside Myosure.
Olivia carried out the first operative procedure in Europe using this technology locally at Leicester General Hospital. She has spoken at an International Webinar on the new Fluent Fluid Management System. Fluent is now available at Spire Hospital to make these procedures safer and quicker.
The team at LGH, have been invited to become a National Reference Centre for Myosure due to our vast experience with the device. Olivia carries out more Myosure procedures per month than anyone else currently working at Spire Hospital, so you can be sure you are in expert hands.
